Standards & Guidelines for Crochet and Knitting — Compiled by Craft Yarn Council of America
The Craft Yarn Council of America is the yarn industry’s trade association. For more than 20 years, it has heightened consumer awareness of yarn crafts through education and promotion programs. Its membership represents the leading yarn companies, fiber producers, needle and hook manufacturers and publishers.

Felting without Knitting
Almost everyone has heard about or seen the felted bags and hats but there is also a growing interest in WET and DRY NEEDLE Felting. On the shop bookshelves are a number of wonderfully creative books describing these techniques and some great projects. To support these crafts, we now carry dyed fleece and colorful roving as well as felting needles in several sizes. We also have the Wizard kits from Harrisville which includes everything you need to make an imaginative 14" - 16" figurine. Felting is an ageless craft - try it as a family project. Also now available are Blue Faced Leicester roving in natural for dyeing and Corriedale and Merino/Silk blend top in dyed colors are also in stock.

Barbie, Barbie, Barbie
Thanks to a very gracious customer, we have a lovely window display of Barbies in outfits crocheted by her mother many years ago and coveted since then. Stop by to reminisce and admire these treasures from the past. If these get you inspired, you can check out Nicky Epstein's Crochet for Barbie.
